March, the month of Black and White Photography Processing, Editorial Fashion Photography and some behind the scenes on set in Calgary. 

This month I was inspired to create black and white images from my work on a daily basis. Photographing with the intention to create a black and white images really makes you think about contrast and how light is shaping your subjects more than I normally would. And how light and shadow shape are constantly in the forefront of my mind.  I have few of the images from my instagram below, to see all the black and white images take a look at my instagram @katherinecalnan.

Always love working with Athlete Jamie Bunka on an Editorial piece we photographed close to downtown Calgary. Another highlight of the month was some fashion photography created for Alesia Fieldberg of CTV and her long time friend Telisia. And to wrap a big bow on the month of March, a beautiful Gala event for Lycée Louis Pasteur  where we created stunning Vogue Magazine style portraits of attendees and I also captured some event photography from the evening.
