With many people at home and a very large amount of people online making sure you are set up for social media can be very helpful. So excited to have presented online to the Professional Photographers of Canada the basics of using the social media tool Instagram!

Last month I was competing in the Professional Photographers of Canada National Image Salon competition. I had four images in the competition with all of them receiving great marks through the judging process. The photo that is attached to this blog post was awarded Excellence which is the highest possible result.
Of the four images that I entered I was awarded two Excellence awards, one Merit and one Accepted and now I have been forwarded to the national finals for the category of Commercial Photographer of the Year.
The results of that will come out in a month or two. Fingers Crossed and will keep you updated on the results in April.
Video work is another area of creative outlets that we offer clients. Media requirements can differ from business to business. We have found that by being able to offer both high end photography in Calgary and also videography this has been a benefit to clients.Read More
Last week Katherine Calnan and Leah Hennel were both on CTV Morning News Calgary Promoting a photography event. The event was a Pecha Kucha 20×20 put on by PhotoED magazine. The website for PhotoED Magazine is http://www.photoed.ca/. “Canadian Photography in. Brand New Light”

The Pecha Kucha event was organized as part of the exposure photography festival. Here is a quote from their website

Last week I received the incredible news of making the finals for Best Photographer in Calgary! This is such a great honour being born and raised in Calgary and also doing what I love, Photography.
