There is just something about the middle of winter, the silence, the monotones and the pure elegance of your surroundings.

Something about me many people don’t know is that I grew up figure skating competitively. Trained early before school, after school, weekends and if not on ice practicing, time was spent in other sports to supplement figure skating, ballet, off ice training and martial arts. Ha ha ha okay that last one my Dad insisted his girls learn martial arts and it was something that came naturally, not an Elvis Stojko thing at all….. Did I just date myself?

Naturally, still in touch with friends who are still in the figure skating world, I invited Jamie to in the spot light for my Creative Photography Collaboration Session. Jamie is a beautiful person inside and out, and her passion for figure skating is truly motivating. Also on set for our collaboration is my wonderful makeup and hair artist Aprille Lu (makeup by Miss Lu) and filmography by Eddie Morris.

The day of the shoot was sooooo cold, but in typical figure skater fashion … The show must go on.
