I recently shared an old landscape image I captured in the UK back in early 2010. At the end of 2009 Canon just released the Canon 7D and it was what I was waiting for. Wanting to get a “good camera” for a while, I found this to be a perfect fit. Not quite a pro level camera, but not an entry level camera it provided me with all the functions I needed to create that blurred background I so desperately wanted in my images. And that is just what I achieved and then some!

Long story short, my Canon 7D went on to shoot snowboard competitions, families, portraits and weddings. It currently remains by my side as a backup or second camera to my primary camera the Canon 5D mark III.
