In this Beauty shoot we wanted to compare the MOLA Demi 22″ Beauty dish to the Broncolor Para 133 Modifier for a beauty shoot.

The camera during this shoot was the Canon R5 with a Sigma 100mm Macro lens. For both modifiers we used the same strobe which was the Broncolor 800s.

The background was the same for each modifier which was a fashion grey seamless paper. This was a single light setup for each shot.

For the Para 133 the light the focusing rod was pushed fully in to give the most contrasted lighting on the model. With the Para 133 I could have played around with different positions for the focusing rod but I wanted create a similar-ish size of light source for both modifiers. That wasn’t an exact science but its what we did on the day.

I am an Ambassador for Tether Tools and Broncolor and neither of these brands paid to advertise in this video or asked for any showcasing of their products. I purchased all of my own gear shown in this video years prior to working with these brands. I like to be transparent though.

This is gear that I use professionally each week and thought it was fun and useful to be able to show the gear in action. Over the years I have used a vast amount of products and gear including modifiers that we made out of cardboard when I first started out. We still use all sorts of random things to help reflect light and create different looks
