Eat, Pray, Love Calgary 2014 at Fort Calgary
Sunday November 16, 2014
On the weekend, I was fortunate enough to be part of a very moving fundraiser for abused women. Peer Support Services for Abused Women (PSSAW) is a non-profit society who provide support for women who have been abused or are at risk of being abused.
This fundraiser on Sunday November 16, 2014 at Fort Calgary, was a gathering of ladies of all ages showing their support for a great cause. There were several vendors set up from massages to makeup to jewellery and silent auction items, along with my booth a 15 minute portrait session with yours truly. The afternoon was a pamper day for all those who attended. Snacks, goodies and Sangrias were flowing. Girls afternoon out!
Speeches and talks started and the room fell silent, on the edge of your seat just listening to what a member has gone through and why such an organization is important to society.
This sold out event was fabulous from start to finish. The organizers and volunteers put so much hard work into making Eat Pray Love a success. I believe they are already working on Eat Pray Love Calgary 2015!
