Becoming a Tether Tools Pro Team Photographer has been a really amazing experience.

I have been using Tether Tools products for many years because they were the best products available for tethered studio photography that I was able to purchase. At the time when I started as a fledgling professional photographer I was drawn to working in studio or larger outdoor sets. I tried different options at first but ended up with Tether Tools and never changed as the quality and reliability was the best I could find. As I began working with more paying clients I started to really experience the benefits of shooting tethered. With brands, models, executives and creative directors being able to see the images on a large screen before leaving the studio or set is so beneficial on a weekly occurrence.

Becoming a Tether Tools Ambassador for their company was a really wonderful offer that has already aided my photography. I recently started working with the new Air Direct Wireless Tethering System which has enabled me to move around the studio more and really utilizing the space and get some unique angles even while still being tethered. This has aided speed and creativity.

Another benefit has been the fact I don’t have a cable and its all wireless. I have always loved the bright orange Tether Tools cables as people could easily see them. On occasion, especially if I was in smaller studios I had times when a model or clients maybe treads on the cable or someone accidentally pulls on it while I’m shooting.

I still use a physical tether cable for certain shoots. It is really nice having the option for both a physical cable and wireless connections. It has really helped me.

On a random side note with all of the online and distance video calls over the past year I started using one of my Tether Tools orange tether cables to connect my second photo/video camera to use as a live streaming camera so that ZOOM calls really look on point. The high transfer rates of the Tether Tools cable means that my live streams can be in HD without frames dropping or losing a connection.
